Terceiro filme da série, no qual o demônio Djinn (John Novak), passa a aterrorizar um campus universitário de Illinois, no qual a bela Diana Collins (A.J. Cook) estuda religiões e mitologia antiga com o professor Barash (Jason Connery). Inadvertidamente, quando tentava resolver um enigma deixado por um dos colegas de Barash, ela acaba libertando o demônio Djinn que estava aprisionado há milhares de anos. Ele é uma espécie de gênio do mal que concede três pedidos para quem o libertar, mas são pedidos que podem destruir a humanidade. Desesperada para deter Djinn e evitar mais carnificina no campus, ela evoca o arcanjo guerreiro Michael em um de seus desejos. O espírito de Michael possui o corpo do namorado de Diana, Greg (Tobias Mehler), e dá início a uma batalha sangrenta entre o bem e o mal, numa luta cujo resultado vai determinar o destino da humanidade.
